THE RASUL AMBIENCE
The RASUL is a perfect presentation of an authentic oriental therapy – a skin care “ceremony room” having the flair and romance of “The Thousand and One Nights.” The enchanting Rasul has a wonderfully authentic ambience. The infatuating scents of the herbal steam and the high-grade essential oils attune visitors to the thousand year old ritual of the Terra Sigillata (the sealed earth) treatment –using freshly prepared muds of the highest value and precious as gold in classical times.
The combination of light and music supports the integration into this special ambience. The therapeutic approach with ergonomically designed and heated seats, enables a well aimed overwarming of certain body areas and supports the relaxation of the client. This is truly one of the world’s most luxurious therapy facilities. Special caring muds and herbal steamThe application of Terra Sigillata medicinal earths on the body and fresh herbal steam, create a unique experience. Our RASUL muds terra sigillata come from all over the world, selected according to special properties which make them suitable to be applied on larger body areas. All muds are purely natural; the beautiful colours are created in their geological deposits, selectively absorbing properties enable skin care according to skin type and condition.
Optimized skin care for every skin type
The selectively absorbing properties of Terra Sigillata cleanse the skin and prepare it perfectly for the following nourishing treatment.
Optimized temperature course
with heating of floor and seats. The warmth is led accurately to body areas where it is most needed.
More gentle on the circulatory system than sauna and steam bath
Due to the heat distribution and the controlled cycle with lower temperatures a higher effectiveness can be achieved.

THE RASUL CEREMONY
A unique and special experience for every client. After a short shower, different medicinal earths are applied to the body in the Rasul. Cosy warmth and low humidity quickly dries the mud on the skin. With several steam infusions, the room is slowly heated up, and as the humidity increases, the room fills with the aroma of herbs being steamed on the stove. The mud liquefies on the skin and creates a tingling sensation. Finger bowls – with running water built into the arms of the seats – allow the client to keep the mud moist while rubbing on their skin. This removes dead skin cells. Supported by the massaging effect, the subcutaneous tissue is tightened, the muscular tone and metabolism are stimulated.
THE RASUL SKIN CARE TREATMENT
Besides the overwarming and the inhalation of herbal steam the unique effects of the Rasul are based on the special skin care. Due to the selectively absorbing properties of the medicinal earth, toxins and wastes are drawn from the skin, and the peeling prepares the skin’s surface for the absorption of nourishing and caring agents. These agents are ideally transferred into the skin in the form of high grade skin care oils. For this purpose small amounts of different oils are freshly blended so each skin layer receives the optimal supply. The beauty, smoothness and elasticity of the skin after the RASUL are exceptional.
