 THE PHILOSOPHY OF SUMMER-IMPRESSION INSTEAD OF WINTER-DEPRESSIONFor many years in Scandinavia, where the climate prevents quality exposure to the sun, people have relied on the stimulating effect of the sun recreated “artificially.” Well-dosed light from special spotlights stimulates the distribution of hormones in the brain, which work against depression and a slowly decreasing vigor. The“full-on” view into the lights, however, can be rather strenuous. The direct view into the spots is almost intolerable. Here the performance of the patented “secondary reflection” according to Prof. Dr. Hentschel is a real improvement. According to the method of Dr. Hentschel, the spotlights are placed on the floor. On their way up the rays take up colour reflections of the walls (blue and brown). The ceiling is equipped with a special mirror, which spreads the energy of radiation and reflects the light including colours of the wall in the direction of the guests lying in the sun.
